So, while going through some old files, figuring out what special thing I should do for News Year, I stumbled across an old audio file back when me and the rest of the VA Crew would narrate (and “abridge”) fanfictions.

Ironically, THIS particular chapter that we read took place on New Years. So… why not? xD

I owed you guys a decent holiday picture since I missed the Halloween one this year ^^;

Anyways, in case you haven’t noticed, this scene takes place Post-Brotherhood/Post-Fire and Ice (hence Danielle’s dirty-blonde hair).

Note: I plan on writing a drabble/one-shot for the scene, that I’ll probably post separately…

To sum it up, Danielle and her mother were spending Christmas with her uncle’s family in Central City, and, despite Danielle’s protests, they invited Edward and Alphonse for dinner since they were in town.

Of course, Dani’s witty, creative aunt, Lisa, hung some mistletoe up in the doorway, and caught the two unsuspecting young adults underneath it. Like always, Dani and Ed were reluctant to kiss; however, after the old-fashioned “close your eyes” trick, Danielle gave Edward some sugar he’ll never forget. :XD:

Better luck next year, Ed~!

Also, Yes. The abstract background was intentional not due to lack of motivation nor laziness. I wanted to give it a sort of “blurry illusion”

Finally got to draw something other than “Fullmetal Alchemist”. Aren’t you guys happy? xD

Anywho~ I haven’t drawn Fai before, and I probably sketched him about four times before I got the right pose. And might I brag that that is probably the best hand I’ve ever drawn O_o (And most likely the ONLY best one I’ll ever draw xD)

Also, you guys might have noticed the sketched lineart. I wanted to try something different with the lineart, coloring, and shading. Tell me what you think!

So, yeah. Hope you guys enjoy it!
